John Coleman's music envelops his audience with warmth, kindness, humor and insight. To spend an evening with John is to go on a journey that meanders through universal experiences of love, loss, forgiveness, whimsy, searching and joy. John takes us to rich places of the heart where we recognize ourselves and encounter one another. John infuses the evening with delightful, sometimes poignant sometimes humorous, vignettes about how his songs came to be. Besides having a very good time, we always leave a John Coleman concert with renewed hope and perhaps even a bit more healed.
